 About Me
Response to intervention (RTI) is a federally legislated delivery system designed to provide effective interventions to meet the needs of students using scientific, peer reviewed, research-based interventions.  RTI focuses on improving the educational performance of students who are at risk of not meeting the standards on the MEAP or district level assessments.  RTI identifies the student’s need and provides a continuum of increasingly intensive programming based on the specific individual needs.  The student’s progress is directly and frequently monitored and parents are frequently informed of the progress.
I am enjoying my 5th year with Summit Academy and I have enjoyed a number of positions within the district. In addition to the Academics, I am the Head Coach for the Men's and Women's Varsity Soccer program at Summit.

Most important to me is my family.  My wife, Christine, is a Commercial Insurance Industry professional and we are both very active in our four children's lives.  Our oldest two have already graduated from Summit Academy High School and the younger two are currently attending SAHS. We have been very fortunate to enjoy watching them grow up while running cross country and playing basketball, soccer, wrestling, and baseball.
